Refund and cancellation policy
This policy covers scoped payroll audit engagements with Application Cloud Sync. It does not cover products, subscriptions, or physical goods—we do not sell those.
Eligibility
Refunds apply only to fees paid for a written engagement brief. Website form submissions do not create charges. Informational prices on service pages are not invoices.
Timeframe
Cancellation requests must be sent in writing to hello@applicationcloudsync.digital or confirmed by phone at +44 078 2706 7592 followed by email. Requests made before scheduled kickoff receive the treatment below within five business days of our acknowledgement.
Full refund
If you cancel before we have begun discovery work and before any kickoff session, you receive a full refund of fees paid for that engagement, less any non-recoverable third-party costs we disclosed in writing and already incurred with your approval.
Partial refund
If work has started, we invoice for completed stages (for example discovery complete, sampling underway) and refund the unused remainder. Partial refunds are calculated from the milestone schedule in the brief.
Non-refundable items
Fees for stages already delivered and accepted are non-refundable. Custom research already performed, findings already issued, and time booked for workshops that you missed without at least 48 hours’ notice are non-refundable.
Deposits
Where a deposit is required to reserve a start date, it is applied to the final invoice. Deposits become non-refundable once discovery begins, unless we cancel the engagement.
Cancellation and rescheduling
You may reschedule a kickoff or workshop once without charge if you give at least five business days’ notice. Later changes may incur a rescheduling fee stated in the brief. Either party may cancel for material breach if the breach is not remedied within a reasonable period after written notice.
No-shows and work already started
If client contacts do not attend agreed sessions and do not reschedule promptly, we may treat the booked time as delivered. Work already started—control mapping, sampling, deduction checks, or reconciliations—is charged for the portion completed.
Purchased materials
We rarely purchase third-party materials for engagements. If the brief requires a paid data extract or specialist licence with your approval, that cost is non-refundable once purchased.
Refund process and method
Email hello@applicationcloudsync.digital with your engagement reference and reason. We confirm eligibility within five business days. Approved refunds are returned by the original payment method within ten business days of approval. Bank processing times may add a few days.
Exceptions
If we cancel an engagement for reasons other than client breach, you receive a full refund of unspent fees. Statutory rights under UK consumer law that cannot be excluded remain available where they apply.
